In addition to its outstanding performances for the "Teaching Excellence Project" and "Model Science and Technology University" in recent years, according to Acting President Deng-Maw Lu, STUST became the first AACSB-accredited private university of science and technology in Taiwan in 2006. It is also expected that the NEU of Vietnam can offer opportunities for students who attend International Business and Finance Program and those who study Vietnamese Language Program to study in Vietnam as exchange students. It is also hoped that students from the NEU can come to study and experience the enthusiasm and quality teaching of STUST. The renewal this time should create more opportunities for future cooperation between the two universities.
