Promoting the New South-Bound Policy: Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology and the National Economics University of Vietnam became sister schools.
Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology recently invited the National Economics University (NEU) of Vietnam to come for a visit, renew their sister school and academic cooperation agreement, and sign a student exchange agreement.

Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology worked with Taipei Pop Music Center for the belief that music can give back to society: STUST invited Director Du-Lan Ding for a talk on concert production and stage technology.
Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology invited Director Du-Lan Ding of Taipei Pop Music Center, who is also the Producer of Mayday World Tour, to share his experience of concert production with students of the Department of Popular Music Industry. He shared his knowledge and experience concerning stage technology and personally demonstrated how a director takes lead of his staff at a concert.

Students of the Department of Pop Music Industry, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, presented their achievements in their "There Is A” music festival one January 6 at 7 in the B16 Plaza of Tainan Cultural and Creative Park. The event was organized by the second year students of the Department of Popular Music Industry, from the main stage of the show to everything behind the scenes.
