1.G Suite for Education is now Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals. 2.Google recently announced a storage model that provides schools and universities with a baseline of 100 TB of pooled storage shared across all users. This model goes into effect across all Google Workspace for Education editions for existing users in July 2022 and will be effective for new users who sign up in 2022. 3.In response to this change of Google's policy, the storage space of our school's users will be limited inevitably. Computer center will announce more specific details. 4.In order to cope with this major change and avoid the risk of data loss and account suspension, please download and back up your data (including Gmail, cloud drives, and photo albums) in advance or transfer to other cloud spaces, and please refer to the following steps to delete unnecessary data (it is recommended to reduce the disk usage to less than 30GB) before December 31, 2021. Step1:Query your usage:https://drive.google.com/settings/storage Step2:Delete unnecessary files in "Cloud Drive": https://drive.google.com/drive/quota Step3:Delete unnecessary files in "Shared Drive": https://drive.google.com/drive/shared-drives Step4:Delete outdated or unnecessary messages in Gmail 5.Google Workspace space configuration will be planned in the order of faculty and staff, students, graduate students in the future. 6.This service is provided by Google for education free of charge, and our school has no dominant rights. 7.If you have any related questions, please email to center@stust.edu.tw or call: 06-2533131 ext.2605.
