Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held orientation activities for overseas students and students from China
Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology organized an 'experiencing' activity to welcome overseas students and students from China. The purpose of this orientation activity was to let them understand more about the cultural background of the historical city of Tainan as they have just come to this new environment in Taiwan. Nearly 50 freshman students from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macao, China participated in this activity. Led by local seniors, they started the tour by experiencing how to use public transportation to Anping area.

In order to expand the scope of this experiencing activity, the group took a bicycle ride along the Saltwater Creek cycling path, enjoying the scenery along the way to Sihcao Dajhong Temple, where they had a raft eco-tour with a professional tour guide, closely observing and studying the ecological and cultural history of Taijiang National Park.
