fruitful results and achievements of International Students Family Reception Plan
in its fifth year

【Administrative Chief Executive of the Ministry of Education showed gratitude to 7 universities supporting the International Students Family Reception Plan.】

Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, held, on October18, the fifth anniversary and achievement exhibition of "Friendly Taiwan—Foreign Students Reception Plan, sponsored by the Ministry of Education. Vice President Dun-Yi Wu was invited to give a speech. He said that it is a great achievement to have 784 host families receive as many as 1,334 students from 64 countries, making them

experience the hospitality of people in Taiwan. The achievement exhibition was visited by the Ambassador of Saint Christopher and Nevis, representatives of many other countries, guests from 7 universities and 20 host families, and 60 international student representatives. The Ministry of Education showed its gratitude to the 7 universities. President Tai Qian accepted the honor on behalf of STUST for its

support to reception plan. 9 training courses and 11 field experiencing activities have been held this year, with a total of 527 families completing training and receiving certificates and 541 international students successfully matched with 441 host families.
