Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won 3 gold metals, 4 silver metals, and a special prize in the 2014 Invention & New Product Exposition
Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) won 3 gold metals, 4 silver metals, and a special prize in the 2014 Invention & New Product Exposition (INPEX)—a total of eight prizes. STUST is greatly committed to developing professional design and talent and encouraging teachers and students to participate in various major competitions at home and abroad. The achievements in INPEX once again fully presented and highly affirmed the results of STUST’s efforts in encouraging innovation, research and development of science and technology. The device "Smart Portable Solar Tracker," which won a gold medal and the Korea Invention Association Special Award, is the fruit of Prof. Hsu’s team and National Chung-Shan Institute of Science & Technology. They have acquired a number of patents as well as nearly 10 prizes.
