Congratulations! i-Show team from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won the
Prerelease Contest held by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, with their "transmissive screen.”

In order to promote commercialization, the Ministry of Economic Affairs held a special "Prerelease Contest" campaign, hoping to build the foundation on the technical achievements of corporate entities, employ the special branch and technological achievements, and thus combine practical creative idea with business technology so as to generate greater industrial efficiency. Under the group guidance of Prof. Yi-lan Hsu from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Lin-Yi Huang from the Department of Visual Communication, and Prof. Jong-Yue Tsai from Business Administration Department, "i-Show"—the campus-wide team from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology—won the championship in the Category of Integrated Systems.

The winner "i-Show 'team is formed by Chung-Tien Yuan and Guo How Hsu from Electrical Engineering Department, Yu-Lin Chen and Pei-Yin Shaw from the Department of Business Administration, and Y-Pei Chen from Visual Communication Department. Given the fact that current advertising platform has been developed rapidly only to make the audience and yet tends to make no sense to the consumer, consequently affecting the effectiveness of advertising, the team developed a combination of interactive screen and transmissive screen to create better advertising effects.
