Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won the "2014 Low-Carbon FUN
Trip Over Kinmen Tour Design Competition"

The Department of Leisure, Recreation, Tourism Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won the "2014 Low-Carbon FUN Trip Over Kinmen Tour Design Competition," organized by the Environmental Protection Bureau of Kinmen County. The team was called " Taking A Trip Around Kinmen Hand in Hand,” directed by Prof. Ying-Ren Pan. This competition was organized by the Environmental Protection Agency of Kinmen County, through a combination of recreation and environmental education to promote low-carbon eco-tourism

【The STUST team "Taking a Trip around Kinmen Hand in Hand” from the Department of Leisure, Recreation, Tourism Management won the "2014 Low-Carbon FUN Trip Over Kinmen Tour Design Competition.】

The team showed a thematic design featuring a two-day-and-one-night trip to the Kinmen and combining local festivals of Kinmen with low carbon bicycle access. It successfully attains the goal of low-carbon trip around the island of Kinmen. With more than 3,000 votes on the Internet and the accreditation of all the judges, they won the competition.

The Department of Leisure, Recreation, Tourism Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, encourages students to obtain a professional license and allow students to apply classroom theory with industry division practical experience by participating in the run design competitions, which, in turn, can encourage students to run programs and learn control group skills in a professional manner.
