Science and Technology organized leisure camps in Fang-Liao Elementary School of Pingtung County

Grassroots Cultural Services Club of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology organized the “2015 Winter ZEP driven Primary and Secondary Recreation Camp" in Fangliao Elementary School in Pingtung County, sponsored by Zunxian Wu Charity Foundation and Cathay Life Foundation Charitable Foundation. In line with the theme "upright confident, believe in yourself and have my support,” programs included drama, crafts, toy making, earth games, parties, and many others, so that each student could learn life knowledge and team spirit through the programs.

Director Yu-Sun Pan of Fangliao Primary School reminded the students, as the three-day activity began, of the importance of learning by heart. He also admired, the outstanding quality and service attitude of STUST students. He hoped that the spirit of service would continue and the activity could be carried out smoothly, based on social service benefits and the best equipment and resources that STUST provided assistance activities, thanks also to welcome the school so hard to provide school services. As the advisor Jia-Kun Lou and the leader Zhao Wei Chang said, through this theme "upright and confident, believe in yourself and have my support," members volunteered to pay to learn, to grow from, and to make a contribution to the service for the community.

The service team contained a total of 21 members, including teachers and students. Grassroots cultural services club designs a variety of thematic activities every summer vacation for their services, covering areas from Tainan areas to remote towns and villages all over the island. Following the active leadership of the club, all the members lived with the spirit of diligence and frugality; regardless of the weather, they have never had any complaints. All they wanted to do was just do their best for the children and made they earn in a fun activity for three days.
