"Technology brought home and into the world of Nano" Exhibition is organized by Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The exhibition is held in Tainan Cultural and Creative Industry Park, April 17 to May 20. The exhibition is divided into four display areas. The outdoor exhibition “Overview and Guide" has an art installation—a nanotech carbon 60 buckyball structure—at the entrance, and for the first time in Tainan, there were nanometer 3D LightScribe performances in heritages. "Our Nano Era" display area is a digital projector-type plan presenting the achievements of National nanotech projects as published in scientific journals, added by the nanotech trademark area. "The forefront of nanotechnology" display area encompasses results of advanced nanotech research and, through multimedia, shows local nano materials and achievements in optical and biomedical fields. Still another display area--"Nano Carnival"--hosts a number of DIY activities.
As this exhibition coincides the "Reduce carbon waste, use water carefully, and love the Earth" activity organized by Tainan City Government, the university and the government co-sponsor the opening event.
