Mother's Day cake decorating activity—Mamma Mia I LINE You!

Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology organized the Mamma Mia" Filial Thanksgiving and Mother's Day cake decorating activity, which was held by the Office of Student Affairs and the Department of Hospitality for the fifth consecutive year. This year the event also invited many foreign students and mainland Chinese student to participate because they could not return home to be with their mothers. By 3C network video, they could bake handmade cake and showed the photos to the mothers; they could also express their love and gratitude via LINE. The whole activity was a heartwarming process to help students sent significant words to their mothers.

President Tai shall find time to participate in the Mother’s Day cake making activity each year, no matter how busy he is. Yet, this year his mother was unable to eat this cake, which was filled with love and gratitude. He encouraged the students to immediately show their love to their parents and cherish the moment they could get along with parents. This also echoed the International Family Day on May 15 as promoted by the Ministry of Education to encourage boys to share family chores and learn to be a new good man.

The primary purpose of this activity is to provide teachers and students an opportunity to express their filial piety and sent thanksgiving president to their mothers. Everyone could personally decorate a unique love cake and presented it to his or her mother, giving thanks to their hardworking moms. Love between parents and children shall go everywhere without borders. Regardless of when and where, one must promptly show the heart of love to his or her mother and family. In the activity, foreign students and mainland Chinese students could send live video through the Internet and 3C video devices, showing their handmade cakes with photo shoots or LINE their mothers. Each student and their parents were very touched by the scene when a distance telephone call or Internet video is sent to convey a heart that was full of love. What an unforgettable experience for the Mother's Day!
