The OA team of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology will represent
Taiwan in the 2015 Global Brand Planning Competition World Finals: A fruitful result of its interdepartmental cooperation.

The OA team of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, directed by Professor Wei-Jane Yang from the Department of International Business and Professor Ja-Jin Lin from the Department of Creative Product Design won the 2015 Global Brand Planning Competition, Taiwan, at Feng Chia University with their outstanding performance. They also won the access to global finals as Taiwan's representative. In June 13, they will go to Singapore to participate in the global finals "Marketing Institute of Singapore."

The Department of International Business and "Ocean Attitude" are working together in cooperation. "Ocean Attitude" is one of the very small number of professional companies in the field. Students of the OA team worked through access to vendors, searching for information, practical experience and other fishing process within the expertis. In planning on the performance of the team for the brand, the OA team turned to the concept of planning in accordance with marketing planning experience, in order to strengthen the OA brand image, expand brand awareness, and deepen customer loyalty. The OA team turned the extremely professional team of students into accessible knowledge with the latest experiential marketing concept and a brand marketing planning module, in particular through the "five strategic experience" by professional lures fishing community.

The department of International Business has been actively cultivating international trade and marketing personnel. For the first time in 2013, the department moved into cooperation with the manufacturer Ocean Attitude in planning for exhibitors, exhibition design, and access to manufacturers. 2014 again saw another Planning Process International Exhibition; in 2015, the department continued to work on "Ocean Attitude" brand marketing and plan on various modules, showing that the Department of International Business, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, is harvesting from its focus on the practice of ‘learning by doing.” The OA Team of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology is now looking forward to its participation in the international arena to win glory for the country.
