Incubation Center won the American InBIA "University incubator of the Year" as the only winner from Taiwan

International Business Innovation Association is highly valued by the Innovation Incubator Office for of Small and Medium Enterprise under the Ministry of Economy. The office prompts domestic university incubation centers to attend the annual seminars held by the InBIA. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology Innovation Incubation Center has become the only one to have won the association’s prize for university business incubator of the year. In addition to this prize, STUST Innovation Incubation Center has been nurturing plans to obtain the merit from InBIA. Over the past 17 years, the incubation center has made a lot of efforts. Now, it has become one of the top innovation incubation centers.

in order to strengthen the cultivation of energy for creating new enterprises, STUST Innovation Incubation Center is firmly linked with international breeding resources. In 2016, for the first time, STUST has become one of its members of InBIA and participated in the 2016 InBIA Best Incubator Selection, which InBIA held annually in recognition of members of the Incubator Project and gives merit award. The awarded member must have bred management organizations, provide a full range of incubation services, and offer follow-up counseling services to enterprises before they can participate in the selection. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology Innovation Incubation Center participated in the annual 2016 InBIA Incubator Award Best University Incubator (University Incubator of the Year) category and received the first prize of "Best University Business Incubator" among all the competitive global incubator members of many universities.

Principal Chien Tai said that the STUST Incubation Center was established at the end of 2014, with the financial support of the Ministry of Education to complete the renovation of the building and nurturing new business, which shows its determination to nurture innovation and entrepreneurship.
