To promote interdisciplinary cooperation, enhance the value-added benefits, and achieve the i objective of implementing the commercialization of intellectual property results in Research and Development, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held the 2016 Infinite Creativity Competition and Exhibition for Patent Research Results. The event attracted 37 teams of teachers and students to enthusiastically enter the competition, which was an exhibition designed for school works and patents with added value, including product design, marketing planning, cultural creativity, and technological integration of R & D results. The competition brought together various teams of innovation and creativity, improved patent applications to the commercial value of the industry, in order to achieve the goal of the knowledge industry. It was finally won by "Micro-shock Quartet Electronic Engineering Cooperation - Precision Equipment for Real time Monitoring and Management System, a work brought out by the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

The Champion Micro-shock Quartet Electronic Engineering Cooperation - Precision Equipment for Real time Monitoring and Management System stems its design concept from assistance to planting monitoring precision equipment in the course of the operation to see if there are malfunctions or equipment vibration, thus achieving in a ”precision equipment for real time monitoring and management system." The system can instantly detect precision equipment factory in operation if there are a result of man-made or natural disasters. An earthquake may cause the machine to stop its operation and analyze the state of precision equipment operating at the time to determine it is the required maintenance or replacement of parts. The precision equipment real-time monitoring and management system consists primarily of the accelerometer sensor, the rear end of the circuit, gateways, and online information platform of four parts, and a device accelerometer to detect bearing on the application of the work on the robot arm and its robotic arm state.
