In the 2016 Chiayi City Creative Snack Tour Design Competition, the three beautiful girls from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won their popularity from all over Taiwan and the People's Choice Award
The team of the Department of Entertainment Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, participated in the 2016 Chiayi City Creative Snack Tour Design Competition, organized by the Transportation Tourist Office Chiayi City Government and Youth Entrepreneurship Association. Directed by Prof. Ying-Ren Pan, Wei-Wei Chen, Chiang-Ling Huang and Yu-Ju Lai formed their "Just Eat" team." Their design “Enjoy Eat in Chiayi” was shown on Facebook as a video presentation. In a short time, the video was shared by over four hundred people and viewed by more than 6 million people. Among the 133 universities and colleges, the team won the People's Choice Award.

The 2016 Chiayi City Creative Snack Tour Design Competition was jointly organized by the Transportation Tourist Office Chiayi City Government and Youth Entrepreneurship Association. The co-production in the event is an excellent portrayal of how the government, the academia, and the community can work together as a total of 150 groups and teams joined the competition. The three beautiful girls from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology made it through their "Enjoy Eat in Chiayi." In addition to their motorcycle run in the design to pass through the streets of Chiayi, their lively video showed youthful vigor of college girls, with the vividness in their shooting and their funny fast forwarding to make the film faster in pace. They did not care about their personal images as they happily ate Chiayi’s snacks all the way. Their handling of hidden gourmet and souvenir made it more exciting to the appetite of viewers. The film has attracted a vast number of viewers, who shared and liked it madly.

Mayor Twu of Chiayi City said the video brought together all the attractions, snacks, and souvenirs of Chiayi City in a series designed for different themes, making it into a day tour driven by the students and the community at different tourist attractions. It introduced the gourmet in its presentation, provided different ways of playing, aroused enthusiastic network responses, let more people know about Chiayi City, and would ultimately bring them here for travel. This is the best result for a day trip in the competition. The mayor introduced the three beautiful girls from STUST and thanked them for the video.

Prof. Ying-Ren Pan said that the competition of tour design is now getting more difficult than before. Students not only have to have the ability to run the planning, but also have to make a micro-film, together with market analysis, report writing, and marketing planning. Prof. Pan teaches "Tour Design and Analysis" at STUST, a creative course to encourage students to participate in school competitions and to look forward to helping the industry, with the purpose to help students apply theory to their practice and learn in doing.

As Chiang-Ling Huang said, the competition was focused on food. They used a fusion creative cuisine and snacks, plus the famous attractions, in their plan, hoping to attract more people to Chiayi City. It was able hoped that the video could attract the majority of viewers on the Internet; this was why they used lively video presentation. As the video was released, there were a lot of people shouting for Chiayi—"As Chiayi people, how come there are places we have never actually been!" There are many who felt that the work made them stand by Chiayi City and help to promote its sharing, making a breakthrough in terms of the video’s viewership. Sixty thousand was not so much a big number; yet, this is an opportunity to allow more people to see the beauty and the good in Chiayi. In the future, they will put themselves into the tourism and leisure industry, always willing to learn and apply their knowledge. She said that develop their love for the place is their duty and hope to plan for more different tours, so that more people can come to understand the beauty of Taiwan.
