This event fully demonstrates not only STUST’s features and highlights in promoting internationalization, but also the effectiveness of STUST in its international education. For example, The Office of Friendly Taiwan Homestay Program, the Ministry of Education, was also set up in the STUST. More importantly, to order to enhance students' motivation to learn English in a fundamental, long-term fashion, STUST changed to focus on English listening and speaking in the academic year 100, making communication-oriented courses the focus of English learning in the curriculum planning structure. In teaching methods, modified to emphasize situational communication in English teaching, actual communication situations in English made its way into the classroom exercises to enhance students' interest in learning and results. In the face of students’ learning, the STUST Language Center offered planning to guide students all the way in English self-learning. The acquisition of the first set LiveDVD campus network boosted its self-learning system in the 100th academic year; with all the films in English, the plan can enhance students' motivation to learn English. Action English Learning Area was also set up at the same time in the 103th academic year, making it easier for students to learn English. In addition, with the "Southern Taiwan global English language Test," STUST began to guide students to global English (Globish), where simplified word and sentences serve to improve English communication skills. It is hoped that all these can develop into a tool for English learning for people in Tainan to learning English together and for the city plan to promote English the second official language.
