Innovation and Incubation Center of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology helped the team "Cafe Together" win the 4th "Young Creative Show"—Cross-Strait College Student Community Activity Planning Competition, organized by Fuzhou Cross-Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center and the first prize of the Cross-Strait College Students' Public Welfare Society. The "Cafe Together" has been working through the Cafeteria Poverty Alleviation Platform. The main purpose of the team is to integrate coffee industry into the business pattern of "Coffee for Action" through the Internet and to establish the "Cloud Cafe Poverty Alleviation Platform." They hope to arouse the public's awareness of "vulnerable groups" in terms of their needs and to help disadvantaged friends develop access to self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and dignity.

Through the creative cooperation of the students, the Center continues to improve its business plan by taking the two-way communication as a bridge between the business model of the company and the consultants. Competitions are carried out in a large-scale competition with other teams. Abstract ideas are condensed into the most potential and creative product in the market. Such innovative counseling model helped the team win the favor of the judges. Guan-Wei, the founder of "Cafe Together" said that in this activity the team cooperated with the Innovation and Incubation Center of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, leading the students out of the university and helping students from Wenzao University of Foreign Studies and Chun-Sue University of Science and Technology form cross-school teams. The team stood out in the competition of more than 600 teams. They were full of excitement and greater expectations. Thanks to STUST’s Innovation and Incubation Center, the performance of these students was highly appreciated. They also look forward to the near future, hoping to create the "Cafe in the Cloud to Help the Poor” platform," which can really help the disadvantaged groups in the community.

As President Tai pointed out, in addition to encouraging teachers and students to invest in research and development, participation in competitions can help combine the resources and achievements of the exchange and cooperation between schools over the past years, thereby expanding the effectiveness of creativity exchange. It can also establish cooperative relationships with other research units or industries, such as industry-academia cooperation, school-run enterprises and so on. The participating teams are highly appraised by the judges and have successfully completed their missions.
