Innovation and Innovation Center of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won the High Performance Development Center of 2016—the Honor of International Center for the Development—by the ministry of small and medium enterprises.

After the Innovation Center of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology was given the InBIA "University Incubator of the Year " award, it has recently won the prestigious award the High Performance Development Center of 2016by the ministry of small and medium enterprises. The award was recognized as the the Honor of International Center for the Development. This award recognizes the contribution and achievements of the Incubation Center since it was established 19 years ago to provide world-class energy for start-ups.  

Innovation and Innovation Center of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology was formally established on July 1, 1997, under the guidance of the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises, the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

 Over the past 19 years since its 1997, the center has given support to 156 companies, 4 of which are listed ones, There are 99 enterprises and 70 young entrepreneurs. Over the recent three years, by counseling and cultivating enterprises, the center have obtained the government subsidy of NT$ 30.29 million. The total turnover of these enterprises has amounted to NT$ 590 million, with a total investment of NT$ 220 million. It is indeed now one of the best private university breeding centers.

After the Incubation Center won the world's best university of the year, it has become the benchmark of South Taiwan, with great momentum to expand to the service sector of entrepreneurial ecosphere for youth entrepreneurship counseling services. It has cultivated resources more successful linked to the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Economic Affairs Technology, the Ministry of Economic Affairs Industrial Bureau, the Tainan Municipal Government, and other cross-ministry resources, providing corporate governance, intellectual property management, industry-university cooperation, technology transfer, and other training services, It has also developed the potential to help enterprises or individuals create new technologies, new products and new business technology, personnel requirement, business information, financial resources, and administrative support, such as all-round resources. The center also won the Youth Development Agency's 2016 Annual Graduate Entrepreneurship Program, was the best in five years.
