Students from the Department of International Business, Southern Taiwan University
of Science and Technology won the 2016 National Inter-Collegial Sanchuang Marketing Planning Contest.

The student team from the Department of International Business and Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology School, won the championship of creative marketing group in the 2015 National Inter-Collegial Sanchuang Marketing Planning Contest, organized by the Chinese University of Science and Technology won the. 126 teams from all over the island participated the contest; they were divided into two groups: creative marketing group and innovation and entrepreneurship group. The "Clever” team, co-directed by Prof. Wei-Jan Yang of the Department of International Business Management and Prof. Jiua-Jin Lin of the Department of Creative Product Design, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won not only the prize for best business plan but also the championship by their superior performance in briefing

The "Clever" team was composed of Jun-Fu Wang, Shin-Yi Guan, Min-Rong Tsao, Wan-Ting Huang, Yu-Chen Pan, and Shiu-Min Lin from the Department of International Business, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. They cooperated with the students' entrepreneurial team of Zeelandia Culture and Creative Studio, which was directed by Prof. Jia-Jun Lin of the Department of Visual Communication Design. They based their design on the creative life supplies—the multi-functional chopping block—and took it as the main commodity business planning. With the design concept of universal design and environmental protection multi-function cutting board, they have won the German Red Dot Design Award, Macau International Invention Exhibition Gold Award, Golden Point Design Award, and other international awards. The "Clever" project was designed to commercialize their creative design, from product development, manufacturing, to merchandising the design— a complete design commercialization process. With their business plan to short, medium and long-term full presentation of five and a half years of marketing strategy and financial planning, they created a complete business module and practice and won the championship.

Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology keeps encouraging tis students to break through the restriction among departments of the school and promote cross-departmental team.
