Ji-Hun Wei of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won Aishin Award
Ji-Hun Wei of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won the 20th Aishin Award. He is also the youngest winner in this award. Recently held in Taipei Grand Hotel grand ceremony, the award was blessed by President Tsai and Vice President Chen, who sent congratulations with inscriptions. About 4 months ago, a letter was sent to the social bureau of each prefecture and city government, which forwarded the information of the township office, and social welfare organization. A review panel was formed to select from a large number of candidates and find 20 finalists. The final vote produced ten Aishin Award winners. Winners are all great contributors to their communities.

Ji-Hun Wei is currently studying in the Education Leadership and Evaluation Institute of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Usually, as long as he is available, he would call his fellow students to the community to help, volunteering to teach information computer. The most practical way to encourage students to apply for a certificate is to volunteer in all areas, regardless of teaching or administrative services. As long as he finds places worthy of volunteer work, he would show up, such as elderly centers. In addition, he also has personal contact with one hundred nursing homes in south Taiwan. Every holiday he will go to elderly centers to accompany the elderly, having a chat, doing some massage, and do feeding work. Wei has been doing volunteer work for 15 years. He always insists on following the spirit of volunteerism. Wei says he often regards his motto as "When you take care of others, you are taking care of yourself".

Wei does counseling for students to participate in domestic and international competitions and obtain a license; he also take the lead in service learning to partial rural teaching, such as the summer robot creative summer camp. He also takes time weekly or on holidays to the nursery or elderly care center Services and activities in conjunction with public interest groups, regardless of anything to stand altruistic point of view. Wei said he will uphold the future of the concept of service to help others continue to volunteer.
