E up the enterprises in remote areas with the young forces to continue traditional
industries: Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology showed great
performance in the ICT Application Innovation Contest by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Department of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, has been very concerned with the hardest source for the local enterprises. With its main theme this year as "Local Enterprises ╳ (Creativity) = Turnover," the department organized the 2016 ICT Application Innovation Contest. Department of Information Communication, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology of Taiwan, participated in the contest with its three teams, directed by Prof. Lu-Ping Zheng, had brilliant performance and won the second place, the third place, and Online Popularity Award.

"Slowly Video Production Team," which won the second prize, cooperated with "Meng Fang Flower Farm", helping it integrate its design with marketing strategies, ward off the current crisis of the enterprise, identify the major fallacies and faults, and analyze the information for its business objectives.l From the appearance to the internal space planning and the official network architecture, the team worked on its promotion programs, through one transformation after another, proposed the most effective and efficient planning content to create new business opportunities. The innovative thinking of the team was unanimously favored by the judges.

At the same time, the third award-winning team was the team "Leading Video Production Team under the Street Lamp," which teamed up with emerging technologies such as the modern network and the marketing plan for the re-planning of the "Southern Rice-made Indica Rice Bowl Cake." The power of this new media was to increase interaction with consumers to communicate, so that bowl cake is no longer a bowl of food for the elderly diet; instead, it can be a fine and stylish traditional cuisine. The team members paid their respective strengths to the local enterprises to break through the traditions of the past framework, which ultimately resulted in the fact that they get the third-place.

In addition, "Noisy Fish-Raising Video Production Team" worked with "Ruicheng Industrial Society" for the objective of the enterprise. Since its inception, this enterprise has undergone two major planning transformations. Against the predicaments as a result of 50 years of traditional thinking and modern marketing positioning, the team held the field interviews to re-evaluate the positioning of the enterprise market, put forward the feasibility and creativity of the core positioning, and developed a set of innovative marketing techniques in line with the times and competition network voting activities. With such a great plan and great concern, the team won the Internet Popularity Award.

Prof. Lu-Ping Zhang said that the use of social media, creative design, website application platform, and other digital tools integration can help rural enterprises break through the existing framework and practices and inject new ideas and new ideas, so that the power of young communities can continue with traditional industries.
