1819 Video Production Team of Southern Taiwan University of Science and
Technology won the Bronze Award in the 2016 "Fresh Local Fruit Promotion" Micro-Film Competition organized by the Agriculture Department.

1819 Video Production Team of the Department of Information Communication, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, participated in in the 2016 "Fresh Local Fruit Promotion" Micro-Film Competition organized by the Agriculture Department of Executive Yuan with their work "Simultaneously Fresh." During 2 months, a total of 96 works were collected before the review. As a result, 22 works were accepted as the final entries. 1819 Video Production Team started their idea with a local fruit of Taiwan—guava, which they took as the main idea to promote the advantages of local fruit in Taiwan—fresh and local. The final video work ran through a funny script, along with special editing techniques and quality shooting techniques. It won the Bronze Award and NT$ 100,000 as their prize money.

1819 Video Production Team’s winning work "Simultaneously Fresh" drew their main idea from guava fruit and lasted for two minute. Through the sharp contrast in the film, farmers and white-collar workers appear in their different life patterns, showing how farmers work hard in their workplace with insistence and efforts so as to make white-collar workers enjoy the fresh guava juice early in the morning when they begin a good and healthy day. In particular, the work splits the screen presentation in two, making it able to compare their differences in time and space. Winning the Bronze Award, members said that they were greatly encouraged by the fact that their work was warmly taken by the judges and reviewers. In the future, they will continue to enrich their knowledge and skills, hoping that they can produce more and better works.

The 2016 "Fresh Local Fruit Promotion" Micro-Film Competition was organized by the Agriculture Department of Executive Yuan, with the purpose to promote the sale of Taiwan's agricultural products to the public and to create digital works with audio and video." It is hoped that these videos can make the public understand Taiwan's agricultural products in a simply way and encourage people take action to support Taiwan's safe, high-quality agricultural products.
