The Department of Innovative Product Design followed its creative philosophy of making the intimate relationship and caring for the user. The barrier-free space aids focused on the care for environment and humanity; other inventions emphasized waste recycling, child safety, products for the silver-haired. They also focused on cultural heritage, traditional metal craft design, intelligent plantation, accessibility, medical safety, and happy learning, etc. which fully showed the designers care for the society. For example, the work "Growing Forming" was developed a student who had developed a series of recycled waste rattan re-use works, such as rattan fibers, which can be thermoformed and easily turned into grape mold and rattan chair stools. This can solve the problem of agricultural waste costs and environmental burden. In addition, the local craftsmanship can work to continue the values of humanity in rural areas human values, creating incentives for young people to return to their rural hometowns.

The Department of Visual Design and Communication offered works in two groups—"animation group" and "commercial design group." The students focused on animated short films, visual design, and merchandise packaging. For example, the work "Little Day" came with elements of traditional elements, turning the 365-day calendar design into a new form with "small day font" that showed its “defective beauty.” Combined with "appropriate" and "bogey" matters, it created a special "word definition" for daily births and special festivals to convey the "text temperature" that is gradually forgotten by science and technology.

The Department of Information Communication had the courage to attempt at breaking through, whether it was in the drama, documentary, news topics, animation or integrated marketing, their works showed a combination of multiple types of creative approach to use more subversion of the previous technical restrictions. The films came with different topics, the news combined with animation, and the 3D animation combined with VR and integrated with marketing and foot programs. With as many as 30 groups of works, the results were more than fruitful. The news report project "Tainan Chen Hsin Group” anchored its focus on an old town street where there is a group of young people successfully turning the almost deserted street into one full of life and energy. The work has recently received Citizen News Award by Public Television.

In addition to the on-campus exhibition, the college would display the "Kaohsiung Youth Design Exhibition," "Kaohsiung TV Show," and "Taipei New Generation Design Exhibition.” It is hoped that there would be opportunities to create a tour for the exhibition to go through Taiwan and join some design competitions. They would not only allow students to open up their horizons and learn more experience, but also invite industry mentors and experts to come for a visit and offer advanced guidance. This is an opportunity to let the industry see the development and power of the college in digital design.
