Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology awarded the highest honor of
"Best School Award of the Year" for three consecutive years in the 2017 VISION GET WILD Exhibition.

The 2017 VISION GET WILD Exhibition, organized by Kaohsiung Software Park and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Education was held in Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, which encompassed such digital content as animation, games, cross-field Interactive technology, multimedia, design, action applications and many others. The awards ceremony was held at the 12th of May. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology once again won the "Best School Award of the Year." The highest honor was given to Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology for the third consecutive year, showing the irreplaceable excellent performance of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology in the field of digital content and multimedia design. This is the 7th year for the exhibition, and it attracted more than universities and more than 70,000 visitors. It is definitely the country's most influential digital content and interactive technology exhibition.

This year, the exhibition attracted more than 70 national universities to participate in the competition, with the number of entries moving up to more than 2,000. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology showed their brilliant performance in the competition. The work “Airogge” by the team of the Department of Multimedia Entertainment, directed by Prof. Mao-Kun Shao, won the Golden Award in the PC Game Group. In the game, players have to control the protagonist Airogge in order to move the tower where a princess was imprisoned. When Airogge encounter enemies on the way, he needs not only to protect the princess and the tower, but also to use his fists and courage to repel the enemies. In addition, the work “E-NU” also by the department and directed by Prof. Cheng-Shun Shei, won the Excellence Award in the PC Game group. "E-NU" is a game to make players experience the universe the interaction of different interstellar groups and peoples. Through the game, players can experience owning a vast number of different groups in the universe, each of them being a masterpiece of the Creator.

On the other hand, the work “Yao Wish” by the team of the Department of Visual Communication and Design, directed by Prof. Zhao-Zhi Huang and Prof. Qian-Fan Liu won the “Animation Cutting-Edge Award.” Another work by the department— "Hinder you Hinde," directed by Chun-Hong Liu, won the third prize in the 3D Animation Group and the Excellence Award in CG Animation Group. Moreover, the work "Toy Superman--Toyman" won the Golden Award in the Creative Planning Group.

“Dried Radish,” the audio and video creation by the team of the Department of Information Communication, won the bronze medal for its audio and video creation in the Digital Mobile Application Group. The film tells the story of a man called Chien, who love to make money by selling lottery and his greed finally makes him run for life. The magic cut produces great effect to make the audience laugh and fills the film with absurdity and joy. The film has just become the most popular one in Youth Film Show this year.
