Cheers magazine published the results of its 2019 "Enterprises' Most Favorite College Student Survey." Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, which is about to enter its 50th anniversary, won the first place among all the private universities of science and technology. In the national rankings, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology is now ranked 25th, and its performance has surpassed many national universities. It is also ranked 10th among private colleges and universities. On the listings of the TOP15 enterprises’ favorite universities of science and technology, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology is still ranked first. On the overall ranking, it has jumped to the sixth place, leading many national universities with its brilliant performance.

The 2019 Taiwan 2,000 Enterprise Talent Strategy Survey," organized by Cheers Magazine, was a questionnaire survey conducted on the heads of the 2,000 Global Enterprise in 2018. The survey time was from November 19, 2018 to December 14, 2018. After deducting those who refused the survey and those who were not successfully contacted, the questionnaire sent were 2,219 copies, with 912 valid questionnaires collected and a recovery rate of 41.09%. In addition to recording changes in the performance of students in colleges and universities, the "Enterprises' Favorite College Students Survey" also tracked the issues related to human resources management each year. In 2019, the number of employees who entered the workplace after the 1980s and 1990s continued to increase. Together with the active talent hunting of neighboring countries in Asia, Taiwanese companies faced new challenges in terms of recruiting talents, retaining talents, and managing talents of different generations. The survey results also pointed out that soft power is indeed the key to the success of job interviews. When recruiting university graduates, companies would prefer those with the highest level of willingness to learn as well as those with higher plasticity (74.7%), and higher resistance and stability (69.2%).
