As the selection committee has always believed that managers are a group of people who have the greatest power to change the world, the selection this time focused on the manager's capabilities in marketing innovation, resource integration, accurate corporate policies, and technological transformation. Managers can change or influence a business or organization by virtue of their status, intellectual ability, or decisions they make. Since 2015, the EMBA office of STUST has recommended several alumni to participate in the selection of MVP managers. Tsang-Shiang Zheng, CEO of EMBA, and chairmen and working teams of previous EMBA alumni associations have never missed the sharing session of every manager. In addition to his blessing, the EMBA CEO of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology stated that the EMBA is also an important learning channel for managers and that lifelong learning is a constant belief that managers should have. With the change of industry and the rise of new economy and business, the EMBA of STUST will focus more on the industry connection among different alumni and creative innovations in response to the changing environment, leading the EMBA alumni to further study together for life.

Chairman Wei-Ren Chen, an alumnus selected as one of the 100 MVP manager, said that Shengzhan Company is absolutely competitive in the preparation of health care products. The preparation is to make the medicine into capsules or lozenges. For vitamin B groups that users need to take two capsules at a time and three times a day, Shengzhan Company can change them into long-acting tablets, which can be effective once a day. For painkillers that can be effective in as late as two hours, Shengzhan can make them effective in 10 minutes. As Chairman Chen also noted, despite the fact that the company's development in raw materials, preparation technology breakthroughs, and its introduction of foreign automated production lines have reached international levels, the company can only rely on strategic alliance with major global brand manufacturers if it does not have sufficient brand power. Alliance can help Shengzhan companies to set up overseas markets. Therefore, Shengzhan is currently working with Weider, the largest sports nutrition brand in the United States, and maintaining a strategic alliance with Wellness, the largest supplier of cosmeceuticals in Japan. In addition to multinational cooperation, Shengzhan will work on building corporate image and creating its own brand goals.
