"Twelve and a Half Months"--the 2020 graduation exhibition of the Department of Creative Product Design, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, was launched on the 1st and 2nd floors of Building X of Taiwan University of Science and Technology. The theme of the graduation exhibition--"Twelve and a Half Months"—came from the fact that the graduation production took a total of twelve and a half months, with "brewing" as its main axis. It was hoped that students would have a taste of sweet wine while they worked together with the teacher during the production.

The winning team of the German iF Design Rookie Award in the category of Transportation was made of students of the Department of Creative Product Design, including Kai-Jun Hong, Gui-Ru Liu, He-Shuan Gao, and Guan-Yu Lin. In designing their work "C-DRIVE," they took into consideration the ergonomics for the elderly and integrated it into a three-wheel structure, making it possible to lift the chassis of the car body and allow the elderly to get on the car easily. The design assists the elderly with handles, armrests, and a ride-sharing cushion to help them get on and off the car. A shopping basket is integrated into the body of the car to make it easy for seniors to shop. After shopping, they just place the shopping basket behind the car when they leave. The purpose is to create a safe, friendly vehicle that is easy for seniors to drive.
