The Vision Get Wild (VGW), a creative design festival launched by the Industry Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, is implemented by the Taiwan Industry and Academia Research Association. It is the benchmark digital creative design competition for students in Taiwan. By way of exhibitions, international forums, exchange gatherings, etc., VGW has created an interactive platform for industry-university cooperation. In May 2020, for the first time, a special plan was made with the theme of "Just Go! Vision Gets Wild on Campus GO!" The patrol plan was launched, leading a professional photography team to visit five campus design exhibitions in depth to discover outstanding works and talents. In order to allow creative energy to have more opportunities for display, VGW organizers invited competitors through online recruitment. The work “Definition of My Playing” by the Department of Multimedia and Computer Entertainment Science, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, was successfully selected. Even if there is no large-scale joint exhibition due to the impact of the pandemic, game creation still has the opportunity to be seen by the public.

Graduation Exhibition "Definition of My Playing” by the Department of Multimedia and Computer Entertainment Science, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, foregrounded the idea that my existence should be defined by myself, with "being myself" as its core concept. Playing a game is like having a brand-new identity. One can choose what kind of role to be, put aside the frame burden in society, reveal his or her true self, and experience things that cannot be achieved in reality; he may come to hope that in reality, he can become what he wants to be, tearing off the labels others have attached to him and bravely redefining himself.

For example, "Van Never Stop Growing," produced by Free Regeneration Team, is a puzzle game that can freely change the angle of view and use light and shadow projection to skillfully control the organization. The plot describes the process of the player and his/her sister cooperating with each other through the mountains and the mountains to break through the obstacles, and the family bond touches people's hearts. "SOMNUS" is a first-person shooting game developed by the Kujo team. The player acts as a secret doctor who can dive into the consciousness of others to investigate and then cure various incurable diseases by hunting nightmares. Players need to use perfect avoidance to add ammunition to defeat the nightmare. The game depicts the future of a cyberpunk with a unique perspective. "Mx.Steal," produced by the Miso Soup Team, is a cute, unique party game. The player acts as a member of the Mx.Steal Grand Theft Auto team, cooperating with multiple people to rob the rich and help the poor, punishing the evil guys. This work makes full use of the somatosensory function of the PS rocker, allowing players to make interactive behaviors, such as handling, throwing, and turning. "NOE," developed by Over Dream Team is a third-person action with a counterattack as the core. In the game, players need to observe the enemy's behavior to fight back. The plot of this work describes the protagonist who embarked on the road of killing gods because his friend was killed. The unique world view is matched with exquisite pictures, challenging the PBR art style of the next generation. “So Fun See,” developed by the image team of the "Definition of My Playing" graduation exhibition. The student group of ACG subculture is the starting point, and the image creation and exhibition are used to reflect the wishes of this generation of students. Through the stories behind them, the design concept of "being a real self" is expressed, because one’s existence is defined by himself.

Zhi-Cheng Sun, Chairman of Students of the Department of Multimedia and Computer Entertainment Science, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, said that despite the pandemic during this period, the off-campus exhibition was forced to be cancelled, but the experience of the game that the students spent nearly a year to complete the blood, immediately ignited hope and fighting spirit. There were 25 games for players to experience. According to strict anti-pandemic measures, the exhibition venue limited the number of people who came to experience the games, so that the hard work of students could still be made public.
Deng-Maw Lu, President of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, said that STUST has always focused on the combination of theory and practice, responding to the needs of the curriculum, continuously expanding relevant equipment, and encouraging students to actively participate in various competitions during the schooling process and understand the market needs from the competition process. They can thereby enhance their own strengths and become top talents for the game industry.
