The Department of Information Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, was established in response to the development of information management professionals in Taiwan. It specializes in cultivating senior information management technical talents with both information technology and management capabilities. It focuses on planning, management and management in teaching, equipment and curriculum planning, develop practical experience and integration capabilities of information systems. Graduates from the Department of Information Management, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, will have excellent information application and management skills, which are helpful to enterprise information integration or interdisciplinary expertise, such as programming language, web development, etc. They also have excellent competitiveness in related industries.

Prof. Bing-Wen Chen, one of the team advisors, said that due to the novel coronavirus pneumonia pandemic this year, the organizer simplified the competition procedures and only required participating teams to submit their work development reports and upload the briefing and display videos to Youtube for the judges to review. For this reason, how to present the development process in the report and show the special features through the video became the leading key factor. Therefore, the members integrated the various development documents completed during their previous software engineering courses, and they carefully produced presentations and demonstration videos of the system and functions. After many practice and running-in in the process, they finally achieved good results, and this let the students understand that presented their works in different ways is also a very important subject.
