Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology recently held the 2020 Intelligent Technology Innovation Application Competition. The universities and colleges nationwide were invited to participate. The participants were very enthusiastic, while the contest had become an important domestic competition. Beginning in 2019, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, STUST, with the assistance of PlayRobot Enterprise Co., Ltd., has conducted intelligent technology innovation application competitions and discovered many future stars in the design The purpose of this smart technology innovation and application competition is to discover the future stars of the design and research and development community, bringing together elites from all over the country to share and exchange ideas on each other's design concepts and the results of development.

The 2020 Intelligent Technology Innovation Application Contest attracted many domestic teams to participate and received a lot of responses. This year the competition is divided into 5 groups: "Maze Racing Group," "Tracking Racing Group," "AIoT Smart Robot Racing Group," "Micro:bit Al Smart Car Remote Control Racing Group," and "Micro:bit Al Smart Car Remote Control Racing Group (by mobile phone)." A total of 74 teams signed up with colleges and universities to fight for various awards fiercely. As a result of the competition, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology won 16 out of the total 58 prizes, winning the highest number of prizes in this year's competition and demonstrating the usual training in programming skills and creative design. One of the teams—"Waiting for You"—was particularly unique in its programming, organization design, and creative design, which won the favor of judges and a Special Award.
