On November 30, the Ministry of Education held the 2020 Award Ceremony for Outstanding Life Education Personnel and Special Schools and National Life Education Achievement Observation Meeting at Nanhua University. In order to encourage and promote life education at all levels of public and private institutions with distinctive performance, the Ministry of Education invited schools and high-achieving personnel to use experience sharing to shape life education promotion models, establish an innovative and sustainable high-quality campus environment for promoting life education, and commend the schools and high-achievers who have achieved fruitful results in promoting life education.

Honored personnel included 1 special contribution personnel, 1 outstanding administrative personnel, 14 outstanding personnel, and 20 characteristic schools (10 colleges and universities, 3 senior secondary schools, 1 special education school, 2 junior high schools and 4 elementary schools, etc.) This year STUST once again won the 2020 Special School in Life Education by the Ministry of Education.

The Academic Affairs Office of STUST has long spared no effort to promote campus life education. Through a variety of life education theme activities, students can experience and explore life issues through thematic counseling week activities and workshops, and integrate them inside and outside the campus. The resources promoted the life education camp, counseled volunteers to lead the primary school children in the remote country to organize life education camps, so that students understand the impact of life and the care of life. The life education is led by Shi-Yi Wang from the Department of International Business at STUST and the students from the Service Club, combined with service learning, implemented life education courses in neighboring middle schools through activities, videos, and many other vehicles to deepen life education and create mutual trust.
