The 2021 Global Brand Planning Competition in Taiwan Finals, sponsored by the Taiwan Marketing Science Association, came with two stages: preliminary and semi-finals (Taiwan finals). The preliminary stage selected 12 teams from all the participating teams to participate in the semi-finals based on their plans and works. The semi-finals were originally scheduled to be held at National Taiwan University, but due to the impact of the pandemic, it was changed into one with presentation films. Over the past, this competition has been able to select outstanding teams by the Taiwan finals before sending them to Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to participate in the global finals. However, the global finals could not be held as scheduled, due to the impact of the pandemic on Singapore. As a result, the 2021 Global Brand Planning gave awards to the top three teams winning the Taiwan Regional Finals.
