The award-winning work "Food Waste Island" takes "leftover food crisis" as a sustainable development issue, using the title as a reference to point out that Taiwanese people have long been accustomed to food waste in life, The project work tries to arouse the public's heed to the leftover food issue, taking it seriously and seeking some solutions. In the work, there was an attempt to lead the audience back to the good time without leftover food. At the same time, it uses mascot animation commentary and a series of scenes combined with news interviews to interpret serious issues in a relaxed and lively way. Bo-Wei Chang said that the biggest challenge in the interview production process was how to integrate differently oriented methods into systematic solutions and to transform serious issues into content that everyone is interested in. After a lot of data collection and discussion, It was decided that the work should provide the audience with a multi-faceted way of cherishing their food learned from different perspectives of non-governmental organizations, catering industry, educational institutions, and government units.

The award-winning work "The Dawn of the Humanitarian Road: New Directions of Alien Species Laws—Green Iguana" addresses a series of ecological and legal issues arising from the abandonment, killing, and unmanageability of the alien species "Green Iguana" in Taiwan. By presenting real hunting at night and interviews of the hunters, the work highlights the humanitarian issues of wildlife protection and increase the visibility of news among serious news topics. The award-winning student Jia-Ying Fang said that it appears to be a simple issue of the management of exotic species of green iguanas, but the ethnic groups and associated issues involved are of a great variety. Therefore, in the planning of interviews and production of this news film, the consensus of each ethnic group must be taken into consideration. The report will certainly help the competent authority to see the seriousness of the problem, make correct decisions, and improve Taiwan's ecology.
