The Three Acts of Goodness International Microfilm Contest was organized by the International Budda’s Light Fo Guang International Association. In response to Master Hsing Yun’s advocacy of the Three Acts of Goodness movement—the good deeds, good words, and good intention— the Association organized the Three Acts of Goodness International Microfilm Contest to encourage every part of the world to show stories of goodness and beauty in the form of short films, promoting the love and peace of the world together and spreading the true, the good, and the beautiful all over the world.

The student’s award-winning work "Unforgettable Memories" is pivoted on the story of Shao-Ze (the hero) as he meets the sunny angel Ansen (the heroin) when he is down and life in his life. The work show the essentials—the good deeds, good words, and good intention—that the association advocates. The sunny heroin, who has been quietly taking care of hero, is definitely the “three-good” character in his life.

Shiang-Yu Wu, the screenwriter and director of the film, said that the inspiration for the award-winning work "Unforgettable Memories" came from his own experience. After he experienced the low in his lifetime, he decided to write a script after going out of it. One would inevitably be caught up in times of trouble. If he/she can have a sunny angel by his/her side and feel the true, the good, and the beautiful in the world, and if he/she can persist rather give it up, everything will be fine and his/her will stop raining. Those youthful memories will be unforgettable.

The advisor of STUST team, Dan-Ching Liang, said that the title, script and character design of the winning work have been revised and discussed countless times. Good works will not fall from the sky. During the planning and shooting process, the student team faced many challenges. The cooperation of the production team, the director team, the administrative team, the photography team, the art team, and the recording team must be seamlessly integrated. Only by giving full play to the project management can everyone and every piece of work be put in place. Thanks are given to many students for coming to help. This award-winning work is a team of students that put together sophomore, juniors, and seniors to do shooting. It is also a work that truly exerts and practices the spirit of three good. After experiencing cooperative learning, the student team adhered to the virtue of “persevering in success, and giving up in failure," finally producing such a good work, which stand out and was greatly affirmed in the fiercely competitive international microfilm competition.
