Under the influence of the pandemic, the winning articles must include the implementation of the USR spirit, the uniqueness of the highlights, with the expressiveness of the photos to show its creativity and excellent warmth and completeness. In order to increase its credibility, this expo invited 47 experts and scholars from all walks of life to form a selection team for evaluation. Adhering to the principle of openness and transparency, it focused on six themes—local care, sustainable environment, Industrial chain and economic sustainability, health promotion and food safety, cultural sustainability, and other social practices. STUST Youth-Elderly Co-creation USR team has long been devoted to the elderly community, and has strived to create a friendly and well-being life for the elderly in the community. The highlight story of this award-winning project of Youth-Elderly Co-creation discusses the touching interaction between the team and the community elders. The story is mainly written from the perspective of the executor. The rotating gear is a metaphor for the link between the school and the community. Bits of bitterness and sweetness are mixed between the words. It also presents the plight and loneliness of the elderly living alone. With the intervention of a group of enthusiastic professors, assistants, and college students, this has gradually changed. Although community cooperation is difficult under the restrictions of the pandemic, the USR team of STUST Youth-Elderly Cooperation has continued to work hard with limited resources and space to make the quiet and closed old community is happy because of the USR team of STUST, and their kinetic energy is activated to find a stage for the continuation of life.

Ming-Tsai Lai, Vice President of STUST, said that the newly established project of STUST "Kunsung in My Heart" workstation is exactly the result of what the local young homeowners were moved by the team's dedication and commitment. They offered to provide housing as our workstation of the residents, hoping that they can also do their best for the local elders, give the team a boost, and continue the cycle of goodness. It is touching, showing that the social influence of deep cultivation of STUST Young-Elderly Co-creation USR team is gradually spreading.
