All members of the athletics team of STUST spent their spare time to practice diligently every day without fear of wind and rain; they even went to the school or other venues for off-site training during holidays. In one single year of training, they achieved all the outstanding results.
All the members of the athletics team expressed their gratitude to the school and the Physical Education Center for their support, especially to Present Lu for his encouragement and visiting the track and field venues. Coach Jia-Lin Du said that this open competition is mainly for train players to familiarize themselves with different venues and improve and adjust their mental and physical fitness to the best state. They will continue to strengthen training to prepare for the 2022 National College Games, hoping to break through their limits in the National College Games and win glory for the school.
Director Rong-Yu Su of the Physical Education Center said that in any sports event, it is not just about running after the rankings of the competition, neither winning nor losing; what really matters is to learn and accumulate experience in the process of sports competition, strengthening one's psychological quality in order to move towards multiplly oriented growth and establish the concept of "doing sports for a lifetime."
