STUST's Local Creation and Dissemination of Cultural Heritage USR Project has always aimed to encourage the students of the STUST to care about the local places, to cultivate students' ability to address local issues, and to achieve the goal of local creation. The project team offers about 10 related USR innovation courses every semester, leading 500 students to the practical fields of Fucheng and Yuejin and come up with ideas for cultural preservation and creation. The achievement exhibition of USR's innovative courses, which was originally supposed to be held at the end of each semester, was changed to an online exhibition due to the severe pandemic in May this year. In a short period of time, the teachers and students successfully switched the presentation method and successfully completed the work. Continuing the theme of last year's "Anti-pandemic Joint Achievement Exhibition", this year, the project team focused on the possibility of implementation of the United Nations’ sustainable development issues and reviewed the attributes of the project and each course, which were quite in line with the "UN Sustainable Development Goals." 4 (types of quality education), 9 (industrial innovations), and 11 (sustainable urban and rural areas) implemented 3 SDGs indicators, setting the theme of this year's exhibition as "4‧9‧11 Joint Achievement Exhibition".

The project team set up 11 innovative courses in 12 classes. The courses were designed by the General Studies Center, the College of Digital Design, and the College of Business Administration, composed of three class groups: "Seeing Local Culture— Reversing the Elegance of Suburban Businessmen," "Dialogue and Connection of Suburban Business Culture—Wujo Port vs Yuejin Port," and "Shennong Street Digital Media." Among them, the day-to-day local culture course successfully produced six board games belonging to Gojo Port and Yuejin Port, such as "Partner to Go to Gojo Port" and "Old Local Spy." The "Who is the Murderer" block game of the Shinyi Street Group of the Old Street Cultural Creativity and Regeneration Course used the creative design method of the “mystery within the mystery” for the participants to understand the old street. The game mechanics and psychology course of the digital media class group created 27 online game ideas for Gojo Minato. If the ideas were completed over time, they would become the highlight of Gojo Minato. The recreation management course of the Department of Multimedia and Entertainment Management, which was included for the first time, came up with the concept of four urban puzzle games for the participants to understand Yanshui District. It was worth looking forward to the implementation of the game in the future.
