It is not easy to get a place in the A+ program "Digital Game Development Talents Going to Japan's Top Professional Enterprise Polishing Program." Students must participate in the selection workshop held in July before they could win a ticket with excellent performance in the workshop. This year, among 41 outstanding students from 19 colleges and universities, among the 136students who participated in the four workshops for 12 days; from the 114 students who participated in the internship selection, only 16 students finally won this opportunity. The 16 outstanding students selected this time came from 11 domestic colleges and universities, including national and private ones, from traditional universities to universities of science and technology, with students from sophomore ones of the undergraduate programs to graduate students--a great diversity of selected students.

The host of the program, Prof. Yu-ming Chang, said that to be able to pass the test and win a ticket, of course, students were required to have not only excellent professional ability but also sufficient physical strength, uninterrupted teamwork, and the ability to promote one's talents. In the workshop of 12 consecutive days, with 3 sessions each day, the participating students must complete a playable game from scratch with their team members. During the process, they must not only have sufficient physical strength, but also face high-challenging tasks with different pressures. At the same time, during the workshop, the team members were not so much opponents competing for tickets for overseas internships than a community of life that challenged the impossible task of completing a game in a short period of time. When interviewed, they must know their own advantages; through an introduction of his or her work and key points, each must make the company team understand why he or she should be admitted.

De-guang Chou, Vice president of STUST, pointed out that the most important thing was the courage to take the first step, whether it was simple or difficult. The 16 students were selected this time because they had the courage and the ability to take the first step and sign up. Take the sophomore selected this time as an example. It was because they had the courage to compete in cooperation with senior students and even the graduate students to win this ticket for themselves. Here, STUST always encourages its students to affirm themselves and give themselves the opportunity to challenge.

Deng-maw Lu, President of STUST, said that "Digital Game Development Talents Going to Japan's Top Professional Enterprises to Polish Program," organized by the Ministry of Education, is a composite program that combines Japan's top digital game institutions to jointly promote the integration of production, education and research, so that domestic professionals can have professional skills. Excellent college students with great ability can cultivate their international outlook, practical research strength, and development capabilities by entering Japan's top game institutions and conducting training studies in the internship. STUST hopes that these selected outstanding students will have great performance in the game industry in the future, so that more outstanding students can be attracted to this project and more outstanding talents can be cultivated for the industry.
