In order to allow vocational high school students who are about to graduate and enter college life to experience the real life of college, the College of Digital Design, STUST, held the "OPEN DAY by Five Departments of the College of Digital Design." This event allowed high school students to actually participate in and experience the life of a "one-day college student." The activity included: an opening performance of the campus idol group NTS x ONE, an introduction and experiencing courses of the five departments, and a campus tour with guide to explain campus details, professional equipment, and classrooms of the departments.

The OPEN DAY of five-Departments drew from ideas of open campuses from foreign universities, allowing vocational high school teachers, community teachers, students, parents, and interested parties to come to STUST campus to actually experience the university's academic and professional atmosphere as well as the campus resource space, fully understand and experience the rich resources and activities of each department, and feel the beauty of the one-day university campus life.

The day's event started with the energetic and enthusiastic performance of NTS x ONE, an idol group from the Department of Pop Music Industry, followed by an introduction of the characteristics of the school and the five departments. Afterwards, professional teachers from each department led a tour of the campus environment, including the rainy day stadium, the incubation space, and student clubs, the Sixth Student Dormitory, Yoho Sports Center, Ancient Machinery Exhibition Hall, and 3D Digital Gallery, the School Library, and W building, etc. In addition, they also led a team to visit the open space and practical experience courses of various departments, including the dynamic reinstallation and linkage virtual characters of the Department of Information Communication, as well as the facial expression feature capture system with virtual scenes for virtual and real integration experience. The Department of Visual Communication Design used creative thinking and design to give the high school students a touch of design thinking, and combine digital apps to experience graphic design and production. The Department of Multimedia and Computer Entertainment Science made the high students experience the creation of next-generation art and magic, with a visit to the virtual-real interaction center and game experiencing room. The Department of Innovative Product Design led the high students to the public space of Building X Three-dimensional production experience and product design presentation space, as well as the Pro Tools studio recording experience of the Department of Pop Music Industry and the demonstration display of lighting, stage, and audio equipment in the rehearsal hall. Those who came to visit were welcome to experience the innovative equipment, with teachers and courses of the five departments of the college. The activities offered rich content for people from all walks of life to sign up and participate.
