Cheers Magazine published the results of its 2023 Corporate Favorite College Student Survey, a questionnaire survey for the human resource managers of large companies listed by Global Vision Magazine in 2022. The respondents were mainly human resource managers or senior executives of the 2000 largest companies in Taiwan. The survey showed that companies believe that students should develop three key abilities in college: problem-solving ability, stress resistance and resilience, and interpersonal communication ability. According to the survey, students of STUST have performed brilliantly in all aspects and have won recognition from many companies.

President Wu pointed out that STUST will continue to strengthen its industry-university cooperation and local connections, promote closer cooperation between the teachers and students of STUST and local enterprises, universities, and research institutions, strengthen industrial and technological research and development and international connections, and deepen Taiwan's cooperation with internationally renowned companies that are in high demand for talents, such as artificial intelligence, semiconductor applications, automotive power electronics, green energy electronics, high-frequency communication systems and applications. Furthermore, STUST will continue to work with sister schools in training bachelors in business and technology, masters in advanced industries, and PhDs in hi-tech engineering.
