Prof. Ya-ling Tsai from the Department of Marketing and Circulation Management, STUST, recently used the corporate ethics course to lead the second-tier and second-tier students to the Shanhua Sugar Factory to visit off-campus teaching, and invited Mr. Chien Chen, Executive Director of Taiwan Diving Company, to give a speech at the school B-type enterprises, focused on the marine protection needed by the people of island countries and the business operation model of B-type enterprises. The USR course subsidized by the University Social Responsibility Promotion Center of STUST, also known as the "Social Practice Course," created social practice courses suitable for teachers and students in Southern Taiwan through the actual participation experience of teachers and students of various majors and disciplines.

For the first time, this "Social Practice Course" invited a B-type enterprise to give a speech at the school. Chien Chen set off from Hengchun at 5:00 in the morning to give a speech at the school. B-type enterprise is an advanced version of social enterprise developed from the United States. It is also a new business model in line with the current ESG sustainable development. Through the content of the speech, students could understand that in addition to protecting the marine environment, they can also learn about the business model of a B-corporate.

In addition to visiting the Shanhua Brewery and learning about the business model of the real estate industry, this visit also included the 2023 Combining Value Added with Local Characteristics in Shanhua District, Tainan City—Shenguang Cultural and Creative Travel Design Competition, so that students coulf better understand the value of community marketing mode of operation and management. STUST co-organized the Shen Guang Cultural and Creative Competition with the Shanhua District Office. With Mr. Guang-wen Shen (the first literati in Taiwan) as the main axis, using food, clothing, housing, transportation, education and entertainment as the six major issues, and taking the characteristics of the Shanhua area as a cultural and creative competition. The purpose was to do a good job in community marketing of corporate social responsibility for marketing in Shanhua area. By participating in the cultural and creative product planning competition organized by Mr. Guang-wen Shen in the Shanhua area, students could understand how to make community cultural and creative products, so that they could help the community revitalize or create related activities and plans in the future.
STUST's "Social Practice Course" can cultivate marketing professionals needed by the industry, strengthen practical skills, and help students to learn the practical skills of the essence of corporate social responsibility in community marketing, which corresponds to the community marketing of corporate ethics courses and integrates ESG to make Shanhua District inheritance inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. STUST participated in the 2023 Combined Value Added Local Characteristics of Shanhua District, Tainan City—"Please use your creativity" Guang-wen Shen Cultural and Creative Travel Design Competition, for everyone to share Travel (travel toiletry bags or luggage, etc.) and transportation (hard hats, etc.) supplies. The competition combines the meaning of Mr. Guang-wen Shen 's "Confucian scholar" and the design of "travelling" to show a gentleman's competition for creativity .
President Cheng-wen Wu of STUST said that this course allows students to help plan more community marketing-related plans or activities after graduation, and truly implement the spirit of learning by doing and learning by doing, so that students can use it after graduation. When the concept of corporate ethics is implemented in the workplace, it can develop the skills of teamwork and improve the ability of self-learning, and it can be truly implemented in the training of professionals in the College of Business Administration.
