  Department of Hospitality Management, STUST, won seven gold medals in the 2023 Chinese Olympic Cup Beauty Industry Exchange Competition and Fine Food Art Aesthetics    2023/5/8    

 

Students from the Department of Hospitality Management, STUST, recently participated in the 2023 Chinese Olympic Cup Beauty Industry Exchange Competition and Fine Food Art Aesthetics. There were teams from as many as 25 countries participating in this competition, with more than 1,500 contestants in various competitions. The scores of the competition were based on the points of the international competition In the bakery art project, with the groups of painted cake rolls, creatively shaped cupcakes, western-style delicate desserts, painted macarons, shaped macarons, and creative design of biscuit products, STUST contestants lived up to expectations and won seven gold medals in one fell swoop, and the contestants were the best in the competition, demonstrating the high-quality practical teaching achievements of the Department of Hospitality Management, STUST.

While the contestants won seven gold medals in one fell swoop, Prof. Zheng-sheng Lin gave students professional guidance and training with his rich experience as a chef in the industry, which is an important key for students to break through their creative ideas.
