Cheng-wen Wu, President of STUST, is very concerned about the development of sports technology. Over the past, the health industry has been focused exclusively on medical treatment and care. However, with the increasing proportion of the elderly population, more attention should be given to precaution. President Wu said that the current government-promoted big health industry focuses on "nutrition and health care," while the concept of exercise and fitness is also rising. If technological products can be added to it, he believed that the habit of taking will take shape in the hearts of more people in the future. Sports technology is an emerging industry of the future, and STUST can help domestic athletes improve their competitive standards, promote the international competitiveness of the sports industry, create new cross-field research on sports technology, and promote sports through a deep integration of sports and technology. The new wave of science and technology can create a different experience of sports and watching games and improve the sports literacy of people as a whole.
