【President Cheng-wen Wu STUST was playing the school song at the graduation ceremony of the 112th class, wishing the graduates a great future to spread their wings and flying forward.】

President Wu Cheng-wen of STUST pointed out two major points for graduates in his speech. First, finishing the four-year college studies does not necessarily mean completing the studies. In recent years, the world has experienced US-China trade wars, geopolitical conflicts, industrial changes, supply chain restructuring, environmental degradation, energy shortages, etc. This requires lifelong learning and means that one should not be slack! In view of social diversification and the rapid development of new technologies, STUST will also integrate departments related to cross-field knowledge and skills for future social and industrial development, cultivating talents needed in the future. Second, one should remember the importance of "faithfulness and honesty." STUST has cultivated talents for 54 years, and has trained countless outstanding professional and technical talents for the society. He hoped that every graduate would bear his word in mind and eventually act as a value creator in the society, benefit the society, and become the pride of STUST.
