Cheng-wen Wu, President of STUST, said that the Ministry of Education’s third phase (112-113 academic years) of the University Social Responsibility Practice Plan was officially launched in May. At the beginning of the year, STUST continued to invest in higher education to deepen its funding and encouraged teachers and students to participate in USR social practice courses. It also cultivated social care ability and accumulated professional ability and action ability. In this USR student community expo, President Wu saw students’ ingenuity in conceiving solutions, enthusiasm in engaging in issues, and confidence accumulated in practice. He looks forward to this professional practice in green energy, cultural creation, and health promotion. To be sure, STUST will achieve greater effectiveness on issues such as sustainable environment, cultivate influential talents, and embark on a path of university social responsibility practice with a more social mission.
