The EMBA Alumni Association of STUST held its first membership meeting for the 13th year as well as the handover ceremony of the chairman and conference staff at the Premier Restaurant in Tainan City. Vice President of STUST, Rui-shing Chang, acting as the dean of the College of Business and Management, served as the supervisor and dedicate his blessings to the association.

The position of chairman of the EMBA Alumni Association was handed over to Mr. Jia-li Liu, an alumnus of the 18th year of STUST and currently the chairman of Jiayou Transportation Group, from Mr. Jun-yan Chen, an alumnus of the 17th year of STUST, who is currently the person in charge of Lida Hardware Company. Nearly 300 distinguished guests, including former EMBA presidents and seniors, attended the meeting. The meeting invited a lot of honorable guests to attend the ceremony, such as Vice President De-guang Chou,of STUST, , Dean Shu-zhen Zheng of Student Affairs, Vice Dean Chong-wen Hong of the College of Business and Management, Executive Director Tsang-shiang Zheng of EMBA, as well as representatives from STUST Alumni Association, the Tainan Alumni Association of STUST, the Tainan STUST Proprietress Association, and the new advisory group. The meeting was lively and warm.

At the ceremony, Vice President De-guang Chou of STUST indicated in his speech that the EMBA Alumni Association, driven by successive presidents, has become an indispensable and important bridge to condense and connect the emotions among EMBA alumni. At the same time, he thanked the 12th Chairman Jun-yan Chen and his team of directors and supervisors for their dedication and enthusiasm over the previous year. He was also grateful to the team for their strong support and assistance in the donation plan to help economically disadvantaged students in STUST. He also looked forward to the leadership of the new Chairman and his team to gather the strength of all alumni, forwarding the inheritance the past and creating new prospects for the future.

Jun-yan Chen, the outgoing chairman, said that looking back on his one year as chairman, he was deeply grateful and touched by the 12th Board of Directors and Supervisors, who had accompanied him affectionately in the planning and execution of every activity and task. He hoped that teachers and alumni on campus would continue to support the 13th EMBA Alumni Association and the team led by Chairman Jia-li Liu, with the same support and care for the team of the 12th EMBA Alumni Association.

Jia-li Liu, the elected chairman of the 13th EMBA Alumni Association, said that he will go all out with the new team of the 13th EMBA to uphold the beauty and cohesion of alumni created by senior alumni, continue the learning and innovation heritage of EMBA, and provide alumni with exciting and enjoyable experiences. In his term he will organize a lot of activities with intellectuality and sensitivity; at the same time, he will continue to serve as the most efficient communication and interaction platform between EMBA alumni and STUST. He sincerely invites teachers and senior alumni to give support and encouragement to his team.
