The Photography Society of STUST recently held the opening ceremony of the second photography exhibition "Corridor of Time - Re-exhibiting Beauty" on the second floor of the Humanities and Arts Building, STUST. The opening ceremony was kicked off by four distinguished guests, including Dean Shu-zhen Zheng of Student Affairs, Advisor Ge-li Chang of the society, and well-known photographers Tong Li and Shao-cheng Huang. They cut the ribbon together and witnessed the important moment of their joint departure. The scene was grand and formal. The exhibition not only showed the students' enthusiasm for photography but also added a strong literary atmosphere to the school.

This photography exhibition was an exhibition as well as a competition. The total prize money of the competition was as high as NT$ 20,000 for 21 works selected from 60 works. The event was once again organized by Han-yi Tsai, the current president of the photography society, in order to continue the core spirit of the society. It was a photography competition belonging to the photography society and the country. It was open to registration and submission by college and vocational high school students across the country. While outstanding works were exhibited for participation, participants could exchange different styles of shooting techniques and improve their aesthetic perceptions, allowing more students who love photography to show their talents and creativity. This competition was judged by Advisor Ge-li Chang and well-known photographers Tong Li and Shao-cheng Huang. The three judges also displayed their respective works in the photography exhibition, adding excitement to the exhibition.

Cheng-zhe Wang from the Department of Electrical Engineering, STUST, won the gold medal in the "Humanities and Portrait Group" with his work "Smile." In the "Landscape and Nature Group," Yu-an Chou from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at STUST, won the gold medal with his work "Harvest." Both winners said that they were pleasantly surprised to win the award and thanked the judges for their recognition of their works. There is still room for improvement in both shooting and planning, and they will continue to move forward with enthusiasm for photography in the future.

The photography exhibition "Time Flies and Memories Reappear in the Corridor" was held on the second floor of Building M, STUST. The exhibition period was from May 8 to May 22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for a two-week period. The Photography Society of STUST sincerely invited photography enthusiasts and people who are interested in photography to participate in this exhibition. STUST particularly welcomed teachers and students from inside and outside the university to visit and witness the students’ profound understanding of life and taste the beauty of photography together. STUST looks forward to every participant’s feeling the charm of photography in this exhibition.
