STUST held the Graduation Ceremony of STUST for the 4,116 graduates in the 113th Academic Year on the 8th day of June. The ceremony was held in the Sanlian Hall of the university. During the ceremony, Acting President De-guang Chou, Chairman Hsin-shiong Chang, and Chairman Cheng-wen Wu of the National Science Council, Prince Mphiwa Dlamini and Princess Sikhulile Dlaminof the Kingdom of Eswatini, Director Hong-rong Lin of Chi Mei Hospital, Chairman Da-wei Chen of the National Alumni Association, and many other distinguished guests, together with all the teachers, students, and parents came to see the graduates off the campus. The graduation ceremony was also broadcast live on STUST’s official YouTube platform, allowing graduates and parents to watch the ceremony on site or online.

President Lai Ching-te and Vice-President Bi-khim Hsiao issued a special congratulatory message to STUST. In the congratulatory message, President Lai wished the graduates a bright future and a prosperous future. He also hoped that after they step out of campus, they will embody optimism and enterprising will, cultivate high humanistic qualities, strengthen their professional competitiveness, and face the wonderful and colorful future hand in hand. Vice President Hsiao also extended her best wishes to all graduates, encouraging them to move forward with perseverance, accumulate experience with flexibility and pragmatism, and look to the world with a positive mindset. He also prayed that young friends will realize their maximum potential and overcome adversity.

In his speech at the ceremony, Dr. Hsin-shiung Chang, Chairman of STUST, particularly encourage students with the deeds of US President Joe Biden, CEO Jensen Huang of Nvidia, and former Chairman Morris Chang of TSMC to, hoping that all the graduates will be promoters of innovation and change, pursue their goals, and work hard to realize their dreams. Finally, he expressed his deepest blessings to the graduates by saying, "Please take our blessings and move forward! You are proud of STUST, and STUST is proud of you. We are the best in Taiwan!"

STUST has performed well and has reached the top level. This year, it has also completed the initial layout of a new industry-university cooperation system, including the Smart Manufacturing Technology Center, Smart Health and Medical Technology Center, Sports Technology Center, Smart Green Energy Technology Center, and the Smart Electric Vehicle Technology Center, all of which are technology centers based on artificial intelligence. As an interdisciplinary industry-university cooperation platform, STUST is firmly positioned as one of the most favorable universities according to the Survey of Global Vision Magazine in 2024. This year, graduates of STUST also performed very well. Zi-wei Wang, a graduate of the Department of Electrical Engineering, participated in the "Research on the Establishment of Key Technologies for Bidirectional Current Harmonic Suppression and the Development of New Control Strategies for Wireless Power Conversion Systems" during his studies in special research program sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology. He also participated in three industry-university cooperation projects of Yafu Energy Storage Co., Ltd., and won many competition awards, including the Outstanding Thematic Achievement Award of the 5th Power Grid Talent Development Alliance Scholarship of the Industrial Technology Research Institute. Thanks to his outstanding performance, he was selected as a candidate to be admitted to Yang Ming Jiaotong University, National Cheng Kung University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and the Institute of Electrical Engineering of Sun Yat-sen University. Yi-zhen Wu, a graduate of the Information Management Department, won third place in the 112th Award for Robot Service and Application System Creativity during her schooling, and won elite scholarships many times. She is diligent in her studies and is a role model for her fellow students. Jing-kai Lin, a graduate of the Department of Applied Japanese, has traveled to Japan for overseas internships many times and has been participating in Taiwan Japan since her freshman year. In the Research Society National College Japanese Speech Competition, entered the finals for three consecutive years, and won fourth place in my junior year. She was selected as a representative in the International Japanese Composition Competition, served as the president of the 22nd Applied Japanese Department Society, and was dedicated to assisting the school. As a role model for students who are excellent in both character and academics and enthusiastic about helping others; Juan Shia, a graduate of the Department of Visual Communication Design, has won many honors during her studies at the school. Her works were selected by Times Golden Calf Award Haidilao Brand Image Design Award for the Packaging Design Category, and won her an Excellent Work Academic Elite Award, 2022 Chinese Visual Science and Art Association Forum in the Image Group. It is true that STUST's strength teaching has brought its students unique charm and strength on the dominant side.
