The 2024 Taiwan Cultural and Creative Expo has been grandly opened across Tainan. The Tainan Cultural and Creative Industry Park, as a surrounding response point, specially planned a 5G mobile car experience event—Chill A Summer, Cool the Night—in cooperation with the Digital Industry Agency of the Ministry of Digital Development on August 8. The opening ceremony was held on the afternoon of August 25, followed by the activities followed from August 25 to September 1.

In order to promote the construction and operation plan of the cultural technology 5G innovative vertical application field, the 5G Digital Industry Agency of the Digital Development Department entrusted the Information Strategy Council to promote the first 5G new digital achievement exhibition experience that integrated government and education to create Taiwan's first 5G digital exhibition hall. The hall is equipped with 5G mobile vehicles and XR immersive interactive experiences, hoping to drive government-academic cooperation and cross-border innovation in exhibition technology. On August 25, Cultural and Creative Industry Expo—Chill A Summer, Cool the Night—was held at the Tainan Cultural and Creative Industry Park. STUST is willing to assume the responsibility of operating the cultural and creative park and has worked hard to operate it for many years. It is expected that after the renovation of Tainan Railway Station is completed, the park will become another important place for visiting and sightseeing in Tainan. As an experience activity center around the 2024 Taiwan Cultural and Creative Expo, the Tainan Cultural and Creative Industry Park has set up two themed pavilions in the park's Jasmine Workshop: Installation Art Exhibition—Still Life Theater and Banana Mall's Go! Island of Discovery. Under the guidance of the Industrial Development Department, the Information Industry Promotion Association was entrusted to plan and implement the "Chill A Summer, Cool the Night" 5G mobile car experience activity, focusing on the award-winning works of students from the Department of Multimedia and Computer Entertainment Science of STUST. This was the first time that a 5G mobile vehicle combines learning and teaching results to create a 5G multi-digital content exhibition hall. The award-winning animation works of students from STUST, as well as interactive games, XR digital sky lanterns, and other experiential activities were on display. Sky lantern blessing services were provided every night during the event from 19 to 20 pm. Children of all ages were welcome to visit.
