  AirTAC Youmei Charitable Foundation donated a total of NT$ 236 million to STUST to help economically disadvantaged students build their dreams    2024/9/5    

 

AirTAC Youmei Charitable Foundation and STUST held a donation ceremony on September 4 and signed a Donation Commitment Certificate, promising to increase the amount of donations in the next 10 years starting from the 113 academic year to help students with financial difficulties complete their studies. Acting President De-guang Chou of STUST, Dean Shu-zhen Zheng of Students’ Affairs, and many supervisors attended the ceremony to express their highest respect and gratitude to Chairman Shi-zhong Wang of AirTAC Group.

Airtac Youmei Charitable Foundation and STUST signed a Donation Commitment Certificate at the donation ceremony a few days ago (September 4), promising to increase donations in the next 10 years starting from the 113 academic year, with a total donation of NT$ 236 million to help financially disadvantaged students at STUST complete their studies.】

Since 2014, Airtac has continued to donate to economically disadvantaged students at STUST every year, and has funded more than 1,360 students so far. The foundation highly recognizes the performance of STUST and its comprehensive tutoring mechanism. Chairman Shi-zhong Wang promised to increase subsidies in the next 10 years starting from the 113 academic year, increasing the number of scholarships to 60 freshmen per academic year, with each student receiving NT$ 100,000 per year for 4 years. In addition, NT$ 2 million is donated to charity activities every year to encourage students to participate in rural services and spread love for people. In the next ten years, the total donation amount will reach NT$ 236 million, and it is expected that more than 2,160 students in STUST will benefit. This is great news for economically disadvantaged students when school is about to start.

In addition, Chairman Wang also attaches great importance to rural care services and tutoring for disadvantaged students. He has reached a consensus with STUST that in the future, he will subsidize funds for public welfare activities, jointly promote social welfare activities in rural areas, and lead students to "spread love with love, care for rural areas, and give back to society.”
